What advice do you have for someone who was in the field, little college experience, no degree/diploma but, some work experience in help desk? I am considering getting back into the field. I am looking into getting microsoft certified or going back to college and taking some courses. My biggest struggle though is programming. I am not very good at programming so things like software engineer or architect is out of the question. Any advice, please hit me up via msg or here.

Hi I will be graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Management Information Technology next semester. I did well in Network Security, Communication Technology, Management Information Systems and Visual Basic. My weakness was in SQL, I didn’t do well in Database Administration (SQL). Based on the information I provided, what career path would you recommend I pursue in I.T.?

what about the age? i am 32 and self employed in the software industry for about 15 years… but i probably want to work for someone and unfortunately i dont have any computer science degree, and i don’t know if i have the energy to learn every day mathematics and some algorithms for 4 years. I mean, i like to code, but i am getting tired to “change”, to learn, to go with the industry… should i learn computer science and get the degree or should i became a gardener?
